What per-physician pricing does to a five-doctor practice.

Per-physician pricing is the norm in referral management, typically $99 to $149 per physician per month. It is a reasonable model for a vendor and an unpleasant surprise for a growing practice: the cost of your intake queue tracks your hiring, even though the queue is the same queue.

Per-physician rates quoted are published list prices from referral-management vendors and vary with contract term and negotiation.

Is this really per practice, not per physician?
Per practice, with unlimited staff logins. Per-physician pricing is common in this category at roughly $99 to $149 per physician per month, which means a five-clinician practice can pay upward of $745 a month before anyone has touched a fax. Here, a fifth clinician changes nothing on the invoice.
Do you charge per fax page?
No. Per-page metering — a few cents per page received, more for pages that get machine-read — is normal in this market and makes a busy month arrive as a surprise bill. Fax intake is included.
Is the BAA included?
Yes, at every tier, signed in the signup flow. The agreement text, signature, signing IP and a hash of the document are stored together as an append-only record.
Do my referring providers have to pay or sign up?
Neither. Closing the loop works through printable status letters that go back the way the referral arrived, so a referring office learns what happened without an account or a login.
Is there a setup fee or an annual contract?
No setup fee, no annual term. Month-to-month, and your referral data stays exportable if you leave.
What if we need portal federation on a smaller tier?
Talk to us. Portal sources involve real credentials and per-portal work, which is why they sit on Network — but if your situation is unusual we would rather have the conversation than lose you to a tier boundary.
